Wed, 28 March 2007 First I listened to the interviews Dr. Coyle provided and picked some sound bites out that i thought might help my story. I then decided from those SOTS how i wanted to write my story. I basically decided to do a feature news stlye package on what people and myself did on their day off. I then wrote my script with the sound bites spliced in. I tracked and edited the entire podcast in avid. I also added music later in avid that i got from Garageband.com. The Artist is Wisdom and the title Order and Chaos. After it was all put together i exported and burned it onto a disk as a wav. file. I later converted it to mp3 format in audacity. Comments[0] |

Tue, 20 March 2007 Extraordinary People #1 - Heidi Today our guest is Heidi Herber. Heidi is a senior at Franciscan University of Steubenville. But Franciscan wasn't the first college Heidi attended. After graduating High School, Heidi wanted to attend a Catholic college where she could grow closer to God through her faith while attending classes. She found a Catholic University very close to her home town, that also offered a degree in her major Computer Science. After being awarded a $10,000 a year scholarship Heidi headed off to college with her twin sister, a bright future, and a lot of hopes. After the first year though, Heidi packed up, left her sister, her friends, her home state, and the $30,000 left of the scholarship to attend Franciscan University of Steubenville. What happened? Why would she give up all that? In today's podcast we'll learn how Heidi left the security of family, friends, and a scholarship to follow her heart to Franciscan University of Steubenville.
